Sebago SS 17 - The Spanish Elegance

It's Monday morning, and I wish you all an amazing new week! I hope this week the weather will be warmer because , as most of you, can not wait to wear all my favorite items from the spring collections !

It's been a long time since I share with you a post only showing a pair of shoes, but, It took me so long to find the perfect pair!So, today I choose to show you my new shoe addiction from SS 17 -"The Spanish collection" of SEBAGO!

That  spring 2017, "The Spanish collection" reminds us the all time classic Sebagos traditional heritages  & craftsmanship., which  is never out of fashion! The  whole collection includes exciting, hand-sewn loafer creations in European elegance, premium quality and classic color variations, always based on unbeatable wearing comfort.

I was  impressed with all of the SS17 collection, but a pair of MERIDA stole my heart!They are made from premium leather combined with leather-rubber outsole. I  think that these shoes are exactly what I need for my spring outfits!

Every morning addiction

I hope you had an amazing long-weekend and enjoyed the Sechseläuten! After 3 days of relaxation, I hope that you are full of energy and ready to face the new week's adventures!Even if you don't feel like that, don't worry, I am here for you, because today I chose to share with you one of my "secrets" for a successful day!

Most of my friends asked me how I look so cheerful every morning, and the answer is so simple....The art of succeeding the day is to start it better! Long, intense or sweet, a good coffee is the key!

As most of you already seen on my IG stories, some days ago I received my new coffee machine ! I am a big fan of NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto , so I was super happy when I received the new Eclipse coffee machine and the 3 new selection of morning coffees.I can definitely say that I am a really coffee addict, and I can not imagine my breakfast without a cup of good coffee, so this was a so special coffee experience!

First of all, I would like to write you about this so stylish coffee machine! As previous models of Dolce Gusto coffee machines, the new Eclipse can describe as a piece of art. You can easily understand from my photos, that it doesn't look like an ordinary coffee machine, but it looks like a decoration and can easily be placed in any kind of space  (from your kitchen to your office!).

A stylish coffee machine like this should be combined only with good selections of coffee like the  Catuai do Brasil (new limited edition espresso), the Preludio (new long coffee) and of course the Incarom Latte . So, tasting these 3 new selections, was a really unique experience, and that's why I choose it to share them with you!

The coffee creators  NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto , invite you to taste Catuai do Brasil. A unique variety of Arabica created in Brazil wich means « very good » in native South American language. I really enjoyed the unique sweet floral signature and delicate notes of honey and violet of this espresso.

On the other hand, if you prefer a long coffee, Preludio will be your favorite choice! A rich blend of South American Arabica beans and Southeast Asian Robusta beans. The Robusta beans bring body without harshness and are ideal at maintaining coffee flavor through a long extraction as well as delivering the sweet cereal base of Preludio. The South American Arabica beans are lightly roasted to bring subtle fruity notes and this completes the aromatic richness of Preludio’s aroma & flavor.

As I love latte coffee, I can definitely say that Incarom Latte is one the best latte that you can have. This single capsule includes the strength of the coffee, the sweetness of chicory and of course the creaminess of pure milk. The combination of them could create a delicious drink, with generous foam!

I really like all of the 3 new coffee selections, and of course  now they are a part of my breakfast! I can not choose which is my favorite because every coffee is unique and special! SCOTCH & SODA

Hello Guys,

Today It is Saturday and my day was amazing, as a spend my morning, doing a  photoshoot for this post with my favorite Scotch & Soda outfit!

I chose a comfortable and classic outfit from Scotch and Soda, which will be the perfect outfit for my casual Saturday walk. I could describe the whole outfit extremely urbanity and very chic.

Mr. Burberry

Hello, Guys!

It's Sunday today, and it's that morning of the week when you just chilling on your couch, enjoying your coffee and listening to your favorite music! It's so sunny in Zurich, so maybe I will go to the lake (to enjoy the sun).But, before my walk, I would like to share with you my new beauty box, wich I received some days ago, from Mr. Burberry!

My box was full of items about men treatment, like the legendary Mr. Burberry Fragrance, an Aftershave  Balm, and a special Burberry hair styling product!

Molton Brown workshop

as most of you have already seen on my IG, some days ago I had an amazing experience at the launch event - workshop of the new Gourmand Collections of Molron Brown, at my favorite Hotel  Grande Bretagne !

Favorite parfumes of the week

The spring is already here,and this Tuesday afternoon, I would like to write you about my favorite perfumes of the week. As you have already seen on my IG, two weeks ago I received 3 new perfumes. Because of my latest trip to Berlin and Basel,  I did not have the time to show them also on the blog! So now I think it's the perfect  time because these are my favorite perfumes of the week!

Acqua di parma - MIRRA

Today it's Sunday, and I would like to write you about my new Acqua di Parma perfume! As most of you have already seen on my IG posts, some days ago I received a box from Acqua di Parma.I am a big fun of the brand, (you can see my previous post here)  so every time that I receive a box from Acqua di parma , I am totally sure that I would be excited!

This time, I received the new Acqua di parma "MIRRA", and from the first time that I wore it, I loved it!

An original, elegant fragrance created using an unusual accord of two olfactory themes with an intense personality: the citrus notes of colonia blended with the warm, aromatic accents of myrrh, a precious ingredient with a heady suggestion of mystical charm. Fresh top notes give way to a unique heart, where delicate orange blossom scents and spicy nutmeg accents blend with warm hints of myrrh oil. An enfolding veil of patchouli base notes mixes with the scent of myrrh resin, which reveals its balsamic, amber accents, unveiling the truly sophisticated personality of this new eau de cologne concentrée.

Friday Dinner

Hello Guys!

Today it's Friday and I have a very special suggestion for you!Your week couldn't finish better, than with a dinner at a very special place, like the Baltho Kueche & Bar!

Most of the people believe that the weekend is the best part of the week, but I think that there is no better time during the week , like going out for dinner after work on Friday evening! So in order to be ready for my weekend, last Friday I choose to have dinner at Baltho Kueche & Bar. 

It wasn't the first time that I visited  the place, because it is next to my favorite delish Cafe Take- out where I choose have lunch (see my lunch here).I  have also been there for the amazing cocktails  at the Baltho Bar. Everytime after leaving the Bar , I was thinking that I have to visit the restaurant, so last Friday dinner,  it was the best occasion to have a dinner at Baltho Kueche & Bar! 

As a normal Friday evening after work, it started with cocktails at the Bar. There is a big list with particular cocktails, so I choose to have the  "Walk in the woods" (teeling single malt with apple juice, lemonade & Chestnut syrup)  and the signature "Baltho Sour" (Maker's Mark Bourbon,Sanddornmark, Lemonade & Agavensirup).After finishing my first cocktail , it was the time to move to the restaurant for dinner!

First of all, the restaurant is decorated with classy and elegant style and the atmosphere were so cosy and relaxed. So it was exactly what I need, after a such a busy week!

I was totally impressed from what I taste, because every dish was so delicious! I start my dinner with two of the classic starters:

•  Bang -  Bang Chicken : so crispy chicken with spinach , spring onions, peanuts and ginger
• Steak Tatar : creme fraiche , mesclun, brioche

For the main dish, there were Fish and Meat choices, so I decided to taste one of both of them, and I could definitely say that I was very happy for my super tasty choices! So I taste:

• Boeuf Bourguignon: Braised beef cheek, bone marrow, vegetables and mashed potato.
• Miso Skrei: A seasonal dish with Cod fish , banana ginger relish, misomayo, pak choi and noodles.

A perfect dinner like this, could not finish without tasting 2 of the very special desserts of the Baltho Kueche & Bar. The apple pie with ice cream and a very unique Mille Feuille with saffron mousse and vanilla crumble!

I wish you all an amazing Friday evening , and you should trust me  in order to be at the right place for an unforgettable dinner!

Lunch at Delish Cafe Take-Out

As you probably have understood from my daily posts, everyday is a new challenge for me and my day is full of photo shoots,meetings, events etc. ( I am very glad about that!).  Although, even I have a lot of things to do,  I've never forgotten to have a lunch break. So, today I would like to share with you one of my daily "habits" , which is non other than a lunch at one of my favorite spots, the  delish Cafe Take- Out ! 

I recently discovered that place, and from the first time that I visited it , I really loved it!  Even  I go for a quick coffee or breakfast even for a lunch ,I always be very contended! That' s why I decided to share with you my last time there!

As you have already seen on my IG post, I had lunch at delish Cafe some days before! Every time I find it very difficult to choose what I would like to eat, because If I could, I would choose the whole menu, salt and sweet!

I have already tasted the amazing pies and tartes, so this time I choose to taste the signature sandwiches! At delish cafe you can find Salmon or Pullet Pork Sandwiches, so I choose both of them! Ι could not so easily describe the very special taste of them with words! Both of them were made with so fresh ingredients and they were so delicious! I think that only a visit and a taste of your own could easily persuade that they are two of the best in Zurich!

Except, of the sandwiches, I wanted also a plate from the salad bar. There were so many choices (and of course I want them all) so I ask to the chef to choose for me! So he created for me a very fresh and tasty salad with vegetables and hummus! Of course, as I do not like soft drinks,I choose the homemade lemonade to combine for my lunch!

That day, I decided to extend my lunch a bit longer, that I used to, so I could not resist to finish my lunch with my favorite brownies and the classics cinnamon rolls! I also took a cup of cappuccino in order to be ready for my next meeting!

I really like that place, that's why I choose to share my lunch with you! At your next walk at the old city, do not forget to visit the delish Cafe Take -out!Even you sit there or take out,  I am sure that you will be impressed from the place, the dishes and of course from the very polite and helpful service!

A night at a "Smart Room"

There was a lot of my IG friends who wondered about my post from one of the eight recently renovated and transformed into "Smart " rooms of Worldhotels Opera Zurich. So today I decided to share with you my very unprecedented experience.

Before visiting the hotel, I knew only a few things about the new "Smart rooms" (I read only a small description of the room), as I was the first blogger who has the opportunity to visit and stay at one of them! The only thing that I was totally sure was about the really central location of the hotel. It is located next to the famous Opera , close to the old town with all the sights and only 10 minutes walk from the Bahnhofstrasse. 

As you can easily understand from the name of the room, it was a totally "Smart room", as I can manage everything from my smartphone! When I enter into the room, automatic I connected to a separate from the whole hotel  super fast Wifi (which is provided only in the eight rooms). Immediatly , from my smart phone I enter into a page from where I can manage my room! From the light and the windows, to the TV and the room temperature. There were also motion sensors which recognise the moves in order to open/ close the lights!And the lights also changed from day to night!

I was also able to handle all of that from the controller which there was just next to the bed. One other thing that I really liked, was the mirror screen which was in the toilet, from where I can see some important news and infos.

Except from the all Hi-tech amenities which the smart room provides, I really like and the very smart design! I think that it was the smallest room,  I've ever stayed , but with all the conveniences of a bigger room. The "Smart" design of the room, is based on the hidden tables and storage places, which you can not see from the first sight! Everything was so well designed in order to take advanced from every square of the room, with high quality and elegant style!

That  night I also choose to not go somewhere else for dinner, so I choose  the restaurant of the hotel, the Opera Restaurant! I was really impressed from the dinner and I really liked every dish that I eat. My dinner started with roulade of rabbit and dark bread with mini onions on cumin yoghurt and mushroom tartar!After my dinner continues with pursiane cream soup with fried Eden shrimps!One the main dishes was the LUMA beef Siloin with truffle juice and french fries , which was amazing, but the dish that I totally distinguish the signature dish of the restaurant, the “Felchen Cordonbleu”! It was as Swiss whitefish cordon blue with Gruyere cheese and smoked ham! As for the dessert, I choose Dark Lindt Chocolate mouse and Mango Passion Cheese!

Finally, I was totally impressed with my unique and special hi-tech experience at the WorldHotels Opera Zurich!I think that your own visit will persuade you that at this room you are able to manage everything from you and your smartphone!

Hide and Brunch

Hello Guys!

It' s Monday today, so I want to share with you my favorite times of my previous weekend! Most of you who follow me on IG , you have already seen that yesterday I visit an amazing place for Brunch, the Hide and Seek restaurant of the hotel Atlantis by Giardino.

It was the first time that I visited the hotel, and also the restaurant, and I was totally impressed! First of all , the location is the ideal  if you want to go somewhere to relax, as It is located just at the edge of the forest!

The Hotel Atlantis by Giardino, stands out for its elegant and luxury decorarion  which makes it so special and unique. At the entrance hall the combination of the fireplace and the breathtaking view was something that I really loved! I walked up the very impressive stairs and finally I arrived at the Hide and Seek restaurant ,(with the same and better view of the city!)

For everyone who watch my IG post, you can easily understand that a Sunday brunch is a must on my wish list on Sundays. I think that a well spent Sunday is the best way to be ready for the new week!

There was a plenty of salt and sweet choises at the international buffet. Everything that I chose was amazing and tastefull! The variety was so big, so  I tried to taste as more different dishes I could, but there were also dishes from the buffet  that I did not taste, and I am sure that I will choose them on my next brunch there!

Except of the buffet,around the restaurant, there were waiters with some  very intresting dishes, like the coconut sup that I really liked!

The "Hide and Brunch" was one of the best Brunch that I've ever have, and I am sure that It was totally the best end of my week - and a promising start of my new one!

Italian night in Zurich

It's Saturday today and if you do not have any plans for the dinner, I have a very good suggestion for you! Especially for whom who loves Italian food in a very elegant and cosy place,  the new entry Zurlinden 21 is the perfect place to visit!

Since December a lot of my friends told me about a new hotspot which opened in one of my favorite areas of Zurich, at Wiedicon. I really like the area because it is a combination of trendy and so quite as it need! So last Tuesday, I choose to have dinner there!

From the first minutes at the restaurant,drinking the welcome Prosecco,  I realise why all these positive feedback from my friends about the place! At this amazing corner of the Zurlindenstrasse 21 , Chef Simone Barela and his partner Giuliano Lotto tried to create a not an ordinary Italian restaurant, but also they try to combine the Italian Kitchen with the Swiss elegance. That's why they chose to name their Italian restaurant with a Swiss name!

The restaurant is decorated with minimal colours and what it stands out is the open kitchen, where I was able to see how exactly every plate that I choose , were cooked! Also, I was able to see that they use only fresh ingredients, which gives a sense of homemade food confort! In order to have only fresh ingredients they change the  (21 choices ) menu every season, which was something that I really liked!

From the starters I chose :

• Seared sesame tuna carpaccio with cognac mayonnaise, beet and avocado
• Seared scallops with Venere rice and smoked saffron sauce 
• Beef tartare with quail egg and black truffle

How could be an Italian night without pasta?...So, I chose to continue my dinner with one of the best tortellini that I've ever had! They were filled with mushrooms and they were combined with hazelnut sauce and ‘Bianchetto’ truffle!

As for the dessert, I chose to close my dinner with a fruit passion cheesecake, which it was the perfect end of my Italian night!

I am sure that I will visit it again, and as the days getting warmer I can't wait to have a lunch at the outdoor space of the restaurant which it will be ready soon!

Longchamp

Hello Guys!

As you can imagine from the title of my post, of course I am referring to my so stylish and elegant new items from my all time  favorite brand of Longchamp!

As most of you see on my previous post (click here), I spend my last weekend on Park Hyatt Zurich, so it was the best opportunity to take them with me!

The brown leather luggage was exactly what I need in order to have all the necessary clothes for a short trip! I really love all of these so special details of the luggage which makes my Longchamp luggage a so stylish and timeless item which I will have it forever on my wordrobe!

Besides my luggage, I also love the blue leather backpack with a touch of brown detail from the SS 2017 collection! Rather than It fits perfectly with the luggage, I am sure that I will wear it with most of my daily outfits! 

Of course, I can not forget to write  you about my new leather blue rectangle wallet. For a long time I was searching  for a new wallet, which could be different from the usual When I saw it, I was sure that these will be my next addiction which I will have it 24/7 with me! The elegant and so unique blue wallet  fits exactly with the backpack creating a very stylish combo for my spring/summer outfits!

I am sure that with a visit at a Longchamp store next to you will find the perfect item which fits with your own needs!
